Today, on Earth Day, as I walk through our Richmond, California manufacturing facility, located in a remodeled, historic Cannery building, lights turn off behind me to darken areas no longer in use. We are certified as a Green Business where we operate. The wood for our stamps comes from sustainably managed forests, while our clear stamps use biodegradable resin. We offset all of our power use with wind power. We use biodegradable or recycled packaging, paper and materials for all packaging and products as much as possible. And we ask our vendors to sign a green pledge to do the same where possible in their businesses.

This ethic has helped us to thrive for 47 years and makes me proud every day to come to work. We are working to do our best for our employees, community, customers, and for the environment. Happy Earth Day from Hero Arts!
